Saturday March 20th, 2010 2-5pm

This class will introduce the student to 2 types of resin.  The first resin is a 2 part epoxy and the other is a quick alternative to the artis who's on the go.

Using these versatile materials, we will showcase your favorite images, beads, and other small treasures in hand-cast resin charms and pendants.  Use ready-made bezels or create your own wire bezels in a variety of unique shapes.  Various techniques will be introduced, such as layering and coloring resin, embedding objects, sanding, drilling, and proper preparation of materials.  Students will complete projects which will cure at home.

Please bring photos, papers, fabrics, buttons, etc.  Any item that is free of moisture and does not contain materials that will react with resin can be used.

***We will be using a low-odor resin...if you're extremely sensitive to fumes, it's suggested you bring a mask.
